How shall I draw them?
From an A4 themed gift to a detailed ink drawing or a vibrant hand-painted piece, there’s a style for different ideas and budgets.
Themed
£10 per head · A4
Choose from over 40 pre-determined themes on A4 paper. Email the photo or photos and your selected theme code.
A personal message can be included at no extra cost. Some themes also allow extra details, such as a football team name. These themes are also used for my wedding and party bookings.

Quickfire caricatures

The same bold style as my themed caricatures, with your own backdrop. Drawn with a Staedtler OHP marker pen and grey shading from graphic markers.
Fine detail is limited, so the number of topics may be too. A black border is included. For wedding favours I can draw and charge for one theme, then use it repeatedly.

Acrylic ink

My top-of-the-range caricatures are hand-painted using high-quality acrylic inks for a vibrant finish, then outlined with my Rotring Artpen.

Indian ink

High-definition drawings completed with professional Rotring Artpens. The finer nibs let me include more detail and more topics.
Graphic markers add deeper shading. A black border is included.

Drawn in the same style as my Quickfire caricatures, with colour added using graphic markers.
Where the drawing needs finer detail, I may use my Artpen for the outlines. Choose any colour border.

Double caricatures
For couples getting married or engaged, or two best buds. Choose any of the styles above, drawn on a 12″ × 10″ format to give me room for both faces.
With limited background space, I include a humorous cartoon along the bottom, usually based on a story or theme connecting the two people.

Group drawings
A large-format drawing for friends, family or colleagues. These can be drawn on any format and can include any number of people.
I charge per head, based on your chosen style, making the total easy to split when several people are chipping in.

This bespoke ordering process applies to the drawing styles above, excluding the £10 themed caricatures.
First, we agree the idea.
I send a written brief outlining the theme, based on your topics and any ideas you suggest. It helps you picture the finished drawing before I put pen to paper.
Then, a pencil preview.
I email you a rough pencil sketch based on the brief. Minor alterations at this stage are free.
Changes outside the agreed brief that require a complete redraw carry a £20 surcharge.
Finally, your drawing.
Once you approve the proof, I complete the final artwork. You can collect it in person or have the unframed piece posted free of charge.
Framing, delivery & digital copies
I can frame the finished piece for a small fee, with postage extra. A digital copy is available on request.
